Meet Rahima Begum

Rahima Begum and her three children lived in a makeshift bamboo shelter in Dhaka for five years. During monsoon season, their home would flood, forcing the family to seek temporary shelter elsewhere.

Through the Dhaka Housing Project, Dream Builders Foundation built a permanent, flood-resistant home for Rahima's family. Today, her children attend school regularly, and Rahima runs a small tailoring business from her new home.
